Horsepower Park is opening the trails this weekend, June 12-14th!! Park is STILL UNDER Construction so please keep that in mind but there is enough to come play on and check it out.
Plenty of Crazy Hill Climbs for serious HP Buggies, some other obstacles here and there.
There's a "swamp" you can drive through if that's your thing lol, it's a lot of fun if you have the clearance for it, 2 Mud Pits to play in and random Ravines/Obstacles to drive through and play on...
Lots more fun for probably stock to mild built rigs for the general trails and such for now...
ATV/SXS/Razor things are allowed and there's a good bit of acreage for them to ride on.
Main JEEP TRAILS ARE WIDE so no worries about Body Damage!!!!
IF I can get this new 300ft section cleared out, it will offer some kick ass fun from stock to wild ravines that I found but time is short to get it cut lol.
Come check out the park though if you looking for local place to ride around, meet some really great people, get to know the plans and potential of the park and maybe will interest you in becoming part of the team to help get this place where we all want it to be ....or just come out and have a fun day riding!

$25 for both days riding, includes you passengers and rig. If you want to camp, $25 also.

Did you drive around all DAY without a passenger front wheel/tire? or just remove it when you needed to park for a bit

I drove around all day like that. It was more fun to drive around in 3 wheel drive than stay home.

No good pics of the actual trails. There are some steep hill climbs. The place has a lot of potential but needs some boulders/slabs hauled in. The lower elevations are really slick mucky mud. With more trail maintenance and organization, the place could be pretty awesome.
The mosquitos were absolutely terrible so definitely bring bug spray.
I had fun riding around and I'm sure that the little girl on the 4 wheeler that did donuts in the parking lot all day did too lol

@trailhugger
at some point doesnt a yellow diamond get required here....or is this just an upcoming event?

basically the way Jeff said it got a lot of potential needs a lot more work but it's only been a couple of us making all the trails so it's a slow but work in progress. there's a whole 37 acres I haven't even touched that's way better than the other 40, trails and obstacles with ravines everywhere. It's a slow work in progress lol.

I took my RZR Saturday, the place has potential the hill climbs that are there are pretty steep they could be made into something serious. The whole bottom part is mud so it could be made into something that has a little bit for everyone. Since I live in Morganton was convenient for me, but if I drove an hour to come I would probably be disappointed until they had some more trails.

Sounds a lot like Broken Nut when it opened. It still needs work but there are some decent places there now. Hell I had my 3rd flop there....

yeah, funny thing we don't have a map yet so I can tell this one section of fun obstacles nobody found LMBO, ooops. They're nothing crazy but fun challenge short climbs and didn't hit me till sunday when we went over and played on them. Def gotta get a map made while continuing with cutting.
Supposed to be some rocks/boulders on the way within few weeks ...I'm really hoping it follows through.
