Why...this one place I'm talking about sells stuff that to me is retarted with what options they offer/dont offer that's all. They still get lots of my business until I get my own table then game changer

More so referring to the fact that you can't handle issue's with a level head with vendors. Have fun with that as I can guarantee you that you will run into issues, at that moment you'll have choice to either burn bridges with a vendor or approach the issue like an adult.

Also, at some point, it’ll be YOU that messes up and you’ll hope for understanding. @Chris_Keziah has a repeat customer that continues to send him work over and over again. You’re going to want customers like that, and you probably have some already. Imagine if they weren’t happy with something you did. Something small, like you could fix it in no time and make it right. But what if they never told you? What if you didn’t know and they just left to never come back, only to spread word around that you’re an awful fabricator and your service is junk, all over the simplest thing. That’s not fair at all man.

Yes very true. I did with the van Alstine company and they did me right...for whatever reason with that issue on drive slugs I didn't feel up to it...who knows maybe since I figured they knew of me from here I would've gotten the treatment I've gotten used to getting from here?!?! :confused::gtfo:Probably stupid but probably had some to do with it lol

I think you stick with a eco box underdrive and a np205 case or the 203/205 doubler. My NWF eco box was roughly $900 shipped. The companies that supply either option have great reputations so wherever you find the best deal is going to be money well spent.

If you had a jeep platform I would suggest a 4:1 Dana 300 because of the price but it sounds like your plans are to have a much heavier rig :)

yeah the mountaineer is already quite heavier than jeeps I've had and with this being full bodied rig, it will def be probably 6k+ weight, 6500 by the time cage and all is done.
And at this point, someone else has pointed me in the direction of 1356/205 doubler that is super easy to make, super strong and can make myself....that means more money spent on other fancy parts lol,

hey hey lol I've been self employed technically for a long time now, just had a few "trials" along the way but almost 2yrs now back full time and will remain that way for good. Shop is built and getting ready to finally LLC myself and once I get my CNC going, oh it's game on for a turn of events for me

I don't know you, but I've read many of your posts. Appears you are indeed living, but certainly not learning! As a small business owner, I have to own my company's mistakes, and I have to work through vendor mistakes/oversights on a weekly basis. That's part of life. I mean this with all due respect, if you allow your inability control your emotions and anger to control your decision making, you will struggle the rest of your life, personally and professuinally.

yes I agree and am very much aware, been doing this long enough. I just have different times/moments when I don't feel like dealing with someone/something usually cause I'm already flustered or maybe even stressed/pissed off lol, so in that moment not gonna deal with a small issue if I don't have to. I ate that little issue and moved on. I don't bash the company the way maybe I sounded like, I moved on and I still buy stuff from them. Just like Barnes I love theirs stuff but hate some of the little stupid options lol, just is what it is nothing bad though, doesn't keep me from buying their products until I am able to cut my own to my own likes and needs.
 
anyone know what years trucks have the Ford 31 spline NP205? that's now my plan and I'm sticking to it lol. 1356/205!

Haha not with this build. I cant turn down a case setup that's plenty strong and easy to build and on the budget. This means I can spend money on a fancier stuff like carrier bearing shaft rather than making one lol and more engine upgrades

Being that you're running a 4R70W and 5.0 I really doubt it'll need the stupid low gearing if the axles will have 5.13/5.38s. You be better off just running a factory BW case or maybe even a 231 or 241. You couldn't pay me to run a 300 or 203/205 (well you could but I'd just sell it and buy an atlas). The only non-Atlas doubler I would ever consider running would be a NWF box to a np205, however by the time you get that together you're likely close to the cost of an Atlas.

I have about $800 - $900 in my 203/205 set up.... Most if it was the Jeb's doubler kit.

FYI- I ran a Jody built 300 behind my SBF on stickies, driving like a total idiot for years. Broke an RCV, split an ARB in half and a few ujoints. The case did just fine.
Chances are my 5.0 has a little more ass than yours will. ;)
