Does anyone have any experience with the herding/guard dogs?
Breeds such as Great Pyrenees and the like.
I would love to have one to help wrangle the grandtwins.
 
Traveling with all 4 for the first time was something to figure out. But all the dogs had a blast at a field trial this weekend.

If my dog was a dude we’d be putting on the gloves. I’ve got Covid, so I put him in his outside pin for a while today. Needed a break. He rarely goes in it. Guess he likes his dog house to be “open air”. At least he’s working towards that. He chewed every corner, moved it, and ripped off a panel. He also has a nasty habit of eating the neighbors dogs shit. I have to bathe him all the time cuz he’s a shit eater. Extremely smart dog, but a shit eater. Drives me nuts. Here’s today’s handy work.

Oh, and he’s chewed up the $500 dollar inside kennel that’s made to look like a nice piece of furniture. I’ve patched the inside to make it work, but he’s cruising for an uppercut.

Uhhhhm…bought this…didn’t realize overall height included the casters, so it doesn’t fit my Saint Bernard. But is very good for children. I just want it gone…

Edit...want the cage gone, not the child.

That’s beefy. He’d have a hard time chewing that, but I wouldn’t put it past him. I’m hoping to get to a point soon where I can leave him out
