I know there's alot of people on here that ride mountain bikes. I thought it'd be neat to get everyone together for a very informal ride.

I don't know if you'd want meet somewhere centrally located like possibly Uwharrie or if you'd rather go to where the fun is in the mountains. I've been riding Kanuga alot lately and I know they are open all weather which is nice this time of year (bonus for being ebike friendly).

We're in if we can work out the scheduling. The season starts in a week, so that makes it tough. Probably no jumps, either.

I thought about that, but didn't want to take time from the ride. I also didn't know if we wanted to meet somewhere up toward the mountains for the ride either.
Shouldn’t matter. Would actually probably bring more people together. There’s no official ride. Just a big get together and meet and greet. Ride when and with whoever whenever.

I'm down for anything. This time of year its hard to schedule anything somewhere that closes for inclement weather. I'm pretty sure URE never closes. I know Kanuga never closes and they have ebikes people can rent if they want the help.

We could do a shuttle park if that helps any. Most of those never close. They just opened a new one in Winnsboro.

Getting everyone in the same place on a day when the trails are open makes advance planning difficult.

Looks like we're riding Williamson this afternoon.

Thats why triangle trails in the winter are shit

San Lee is the place to go in the Triangle, never closes.

Kanuga never closes either with rain, just got to pick a trail that doesn't close with everybody so scared one little rut might happen

Yes, because they don't close the trails for three days every time it threatens a thunder shower in the summer.
