Had two power blips at work this morning. First one shut all three production facilities down. Got everything back going and BAM! Off and on again. After the second one I text the area supervisor to see what was up.

The tank will need to be dropped and cleaned judging by the smell when you take off the cap. Are you saying to ditch the fuel injection?

Halfway joking but totally serious. I would either do high comp big cam N/A on the L28 or SR20DET swap if it were my project. I had the tank restored on my 240sx earlier this year and learned a lot if you need any help.

I've barely researched this revival, but for some reason I'm thinking this has an outside of the tank pump, but I could definitely be wrong. I do plan on cleaning the tank, new filters and pump. Hopefully that will give me an idea of why this rig was parked. Ignition and FI looks dead nuts simple. FWIW, this isn't my car. It's my daughter and son-in-law's project. I just need to make it run, drive and stop.
