Bourbon

Well divorce papers finalized and signed by a judge today…so busted out my second favorite bourbon of all time.

How’s the Old Fitz 7 year?
Better than it has any right for $50.
It’s not on par with the 10+ year bottles. But it’s damn tasty.

I’d take it 11 times out of 10 over a blantons or eagle rare

$55 is GA MSRP and it’s everywhere.

I can find it pretty regularly for $65 in SC

Maybe around you but down near me it’s never available on the shelf and when it is it’s $85 or more.

It’s funny since moving to greenville area…certain things are more readily available than the rock hil/charlotte metro …but others are non existent

Hell that happens between ABC stores across town from each other. I dont understand how one store gets 12 cases of something and the other only gets 1

There an NC ABC store that always has about 12 BT on the shelf. Limit one, Every week I go to a job nearby I have to stop in. $32 per bottle.

New store in conover a block from rural king being built, it’s a big guy
Find out when the grand opening is. Wait till the crowds dies down at the end of the day. You'll probably be able to walk in and buy BT ER one each.
If you wait in line with the 300 people that show up before they open you might get some Blantons or other allocated bourbon.

Exactly, the one I'm going to now is newer. I don't know how much but it is. Been there several months and they always have 12 BT on the shelf at 10am
A friend of mine went the day of another stores grand opening, at the last hour he was able to buy a case of BT along with 1 bottle of each allocations they still had in stock.
So watch for Grand openings of all NC ABC they do get allocated for purchase when they first open.

Yeah I wasn't feeling to well that day either. And you drug me 1.5 hours south, lol. Self inflicted, what little food I ate did help.
Was a good day though.

bourbon=good
tequilla=bad

I’d snag every bottle of ER I could find at $50/ea. I don’t know the last time I saw an ER drop. Used to be able to buy it by the case at $40/bottle. Get off my lawn.
Next time you go to Harlan go to the store in town. She sold me a case and implied she had more she couldn’t sell. Shelf price was $60ish. But case price was less. I also grabbed this sitting next to Pure Kentucky which I see everywhere here. Same distillery but different mix I believe.
