Jeep SRT revival

Found a killer Black Friday sale.
Picked up a brand new SRT crank, rods and pistons today. Even met a forum member and reminisced on old times competing in EROCC against each other.
Thanks @Jeeper1093!

Gonna drop off the heads next week for a full valve job. Bearings and seals due in next week. Should have an assembled long block ready to drop back in within a couple weeks.

Finally back on this one. Apparently a lot of people think I'm good at installing gears or something 😉
Got the block down to bare, cleaned it up and cleaned all the passages.
The mains show signs of lack of oil. One of the main bearing pairs have become permanently attached to each other. Welded to each other, around the main.
2 of the rod bearings spun and ate the crank up. No other damage found
New crank, rods, pistons, bearings, Hellcat cam, lifters and oil pump going in. Full MDS delete and a valve job to seal the deal.
It'll be a flip once I'm done, so gonna do it right in case one of y'all end up with it. 😘

You ain't an OG if you don't have a skoady Summit sticker on the back slider of your truck.
Bonus for the fancy ring compressor/piston installer.

Sticker must be accompanied by a Cherry Bomb or Thrush sticker to be king of the trailerhood.

Crank in and endplay set.
Gotta order a fancy ring compressor from ARP. I'm just a skoad used to building AMC and Ford small blocks and 4.6 strokers. The OG adjustable $10 O'Reilly one won't do these.

Probably the most critical tech question in this entire thread, arguably the whole forum:
Is that garage beer stuff good?

super good. Very light too. Good summer lawn care brew
Buddy of mine went to Ohio recently and brought me back some.
Cool, been looking for a new camping/wheeling beer that's not like 5%+ alcohol, I think it pops up occasionally at one of the Lowe's around here.
