Expressed my love for procore, and it was acceptable

For what it does Procore is probably the best of its ilk.

I hate their pricing strategy.

What I really hate - is the culture it has created. Used to be revising drawings was thought through because a revision required printing a full set of drawings and distributing.
These days they can push a rev out daily.

I’m on a municipal project we are 45 days in and on drawing rev 17 or 18…

Most frustrating is they don’t push a full set just the revised drawing . So if you open the full stiletto and dot catch that single drawing rev you are building to ghosts.

Of course if the GC uploads the drawings properly it will nest them. But one extra space or period and it’s a new drawing in the string.

That double decker job trailer I posted...they are going paperless and posting addendums on procore only
Your man in the field is required to have a tablet and know what the latest drawing is because of procore. On a job site with no cell service. Where the building is almost 1/2 mile from the job trailer that has wifi

The old school 65 yr old plumber has a flip phone. This shit ain't going well

And of the GC doesn't notify you of changes that's another shifty thing. Already completed that area but no one knows it changed. Or your field guy builds it but you didn't have an opportunity to price the change. Field guys have no clue of changesonly what the current drawings are. And oh the emails, three minimum for anything that might relate to you.

What do you mean the masons started in area D over the weekend?!?! We were supposed to rough out area C Monday morning. No one was notified to have people on site over the weekend to rough PM&E in area D 😡
Shame about all those walls that got knocked down by the ECs mini-Ex to install conduit 😇

Set up a few of these pumps as part of an install this week, they are 25k+ a piece --figured for that price they should definitely be more future looking so added some underglows.

After I did my first mods on my P pump, my fuel mileage went to 22.8 tested on a road trip (from a previous best of just under 20)

After I went further with new AFC spring, plate and housing full forward and more tuning for clean power I feel I added easily an additional 50hp over the initial 50hp bump from before.

Tested yesterday over nearly 500 miles and only lost 0.5mpg 😎

I will take the loss and call the mods a huge victory for science and ‘Murica.
