Sticky tire opinion

What is your preferred sticky compound tire in the 37” flavor:

Maxxis Trepador

or

Mickey Thompson Baja Boss X?

They do look good. What is your reasoning for not running them again?

The Treps are 10-ply in 37's, had them on my old transaxle buggy. I ran them with zero air in them and they barely bulged.

I've been impressed with the Mickey's that @StretchASU has on his YJ.

The Mickeys have such a big following their about sold out for the year. We seen alot of them in action this past weekend and I am sure glad I have my set. Even the dot comp seem to work about as well as the stickys, enter @tobaccoroad4wd daily.

I wish I had some more seat time with my Baja Boss X's but happy so far. For the price they were a great option.

Probably not what you're looking for but I can't say enough good about how my MT Baja Pro X perform and clean out

I wouldn't overlook the 37" rockzilla. After seeing how good they work with @Van-go and the 35's the 37's should work well.

I think the new Journey's come in a 37. What I have read online, the 43s are almost too soft, compared to 43 SX.

That says radial but description says soft tread compound. Do they only make sticky in that tire?


I've thought about the Zilla for the latest race ghost if I ever get motivated on it again.

37 is only made in the sticky.
