Anyone seen or dealt with a toilet supply line valve like this?

I’ve never seen one, but it seems to automagically and seemingly randomly shut off.

That round knob looking real is a pop in/pop out type valve. Three times now I’ve gone in and there’s no water in the tank and that thing is pushed out. If you push it back in, it opens the valve and starts running water again.

I’ve never seen anything like this and don’t know why it keeps shutting off.

Look at that wire fencing in pic 2. I'd build a fence just to have a reason to use it! Moto-graders are cool too, but I just love some antique fence wire lol

Sharkbite over cpvc, if so there’s a $10 tool that will loose the sharkbite and you can replace the valve easy

Has about 360 hours on it. Sad really. The port motor is still running, but I suspect it's insides look just like this. It was missing pretty bad so I fed her the onions to "blow it out". Got up to 3800 rpm a couple times before the diagnosis began. Thought maybe plugs but found the milk pretty quick and went back to the dock...

How old though? It seems the zincs would keep that from happening at that low of hours.

My cousin's house is plumbed with these. Hers under the sink started popping off and she had them replaced with standard quarter turn cutoff valves.
