I hope that whoever put this oil filter on that the other side of the pillow is always warm.

There were cuss words said and extra shit that I had to take off but now there's a shiny new Motorcraft filter installed. That and you can really see the bling of the fuel pump block off plate.

Heater hoses installed and coolant is filled up. Hate it have a work trip this week because we're getting close to lighting the fires and kicking the tires.

Went ahead and pulled the seat to see what kind of cluster were working with and boy do I have some work ahead of me. Gonna order some pans, rockers and corners this week and see how much I'll have to make. If anyone has a donor bullnose sitting around I'm interested in a set of doors and maybe fenders.

Gonna head out to the shop here shortly to tear into these a bit. Need to dig into my daily F150 though, on the way home from dropping the trailer off she decided the battery light just had to come on 🤦🏼

So last night we did some high class drinking in the shop.

Got the bed off which was a fun job. Only had to cut 3 of 8 bed bolts but I also had 400 lbs of rust fall on me when the Milwaukee Rust Shaker Looser 9000 started hitting.

So while taking taking the bed off my wheels started turning and after meeting with my financial advisor (free plug for Rod Alexander, you should hit him up), we've decided it best to cut the frame off just aft of the cab (see finger below, position is accurate to +/- 6") and shorten the wheel base up ~13" to short bed wheelbase. The frame just has to many bad spots and I can whip up a back half using the factory leaf hangers fairly easy and quicker than patching what currently there.

Current status, I need to order tube for the frame rails and flatbed still so going to move over to wiring and exhaust today.

Gotta love Amazon and these mufflers supposedly being 2.5" in/out 🧐 We'll get some adapters and fix that since these were cheap.

Wonder if the cfa lemonade would make a good mixer, redneck whiskey sour style
 
If you are moving mounts anyway.... I have seen that the 58"(?) superduty leafs are getting good reviews for travel, so might be worth looking into.

🤔 may have to give that a try, honestly it's an easy drinker straight. The older I get the more I like my whiskey drinks to just have whiskey in them.

I've seen a couple of things about SD leafs but haven't read into it much.

Funny you should say that…

That’s my wife go-to summer time drink. If CFA isn’t an option then she opts for the boujee Simply Lemonade.

It’s pretty delicious actually. 10/10 would recommend
