Welcome to North Carolina Dynatrac!

Seeing those East Coast Gear Supply tee's on the crew is heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time.

East Coast was on point. I hope that doesn't change.

So I visited ECGS web site. No mention I could find of Dynatrac. So do they still remain as a identity? Parent company? rebrand? What's the details.
I still want to support them and be loyal if they exist as a North Carolina owned and outstanding customer support base I am accustomed too.

I saw Barnes go from rental storage space with 3 computers and a single welder to having a full scale facility with world class manufacturing equipment the same way. Maybe one day these big names will get together and make an app style off road destination in our state
That facility is plain bad ass! I would love to attend another open house event.

This was dynatracs first announcement of the merger

2 different business's owned under the Randy's umbrella. Dynatrac Relocates Manufacturing to East Coast Gear Supply’s Facility | THE SHOP

You won't even find ECGS on the main Randy's page under brands though (scroll down a bit on this page- RANDYS Worldwide | Suspension, Differential, Reman Experts ), but you will see Dynatrack.

ECGS has been owned by them for at least 2 years now I'm pretty sure.

When eggs started selling prorock shaped center sections I knew some kind of partnership existed

Barnes and ECGS are my go to when building my rig or working on someone else's. always good customer service and quality parts.

Nice! I hope ECGS doesn't change. I have not ordered from then in a long while but always have great service.

I am just glad to see my old race xj still alive at ECGS

The good times were when "they" were in Brad's 1 car garage and you'd get complimentary dinner with he and his wife when you picked up.

and our buddy Jacks jeep was there when they filmed :)

ECGS was acquired by Randy's Worldwide a few years ago. About the same time they moved into their massive new facility. I noticed Randy's east coast distribution center's address was the same as ECGS, so it was pretty apparent what had happened.
Nothing has really changed on the customer side of ECGS. I kept my same sales rep, still same day shipping. It was pretty seamless IMO.
Randy's also acquired Dynatrac and moved them to the ECGS facility. My rep at Dynatrac mentioned it to me last year when I was ordering some stuff for a Pro Rock here in the shop.
Cliffs: If you ain't noticed anything bad yet, you ain't gonna start now!

Both Barnes and ECGS had alot of support from this site in the start up years. Now neither support the sight/members very much if at all.

Sad
Its a niche interest internet forum where they have essentially hit their market cap that can be generated from such. They still support numerous members here in various ways, its just not highly publicized.

This.
My brother in law, not @thebrotherinlaw , my other one, sells power adder parts for a living. Gone are the days of forums being a good place to sell your goods. Social media is where customers look these days.
