I need to ship a large rear toolbox for a Jeep CJ to a friend in France. Never sent anything larger than a letter before.
Any advice, resources?
Thanks.

Good luck fitting that tool box in the standard check bags size limitI have a free shipping method for the tool box if it's not oversized. Hear me out...There's a theme park in France that you might be interested. You pack all your clothes in the tool box, and your mickey ears, check it as you one free piece of luggage and take it with you. Have your friend foot the bill for the plane ticket as it'll be about the same cost as shipping. Then you either leave your clothes behind or you have to get a piece of luggage for the return trip. Just a thought...
But, do you declare the item?Good luck fitting that tool box in the standard check bags size limit
But the truth is this is real.
We've had cases where we needed to ship a one of a kind hand made irreplaceable item and the cost of sending a guy with it in his bag was negligibly different than secure freight that we had confidence would make it
Nope its never been necessary. But, do you declare the item?
Honestly curious
My friend actually suggested I just fly over and bring it, It would definitely be oversized for checked baggage though. Plus, there are two different Jeep events he wants me to attend next year if I can.I have a free shipping method for the tool box if it's not oversized.
