This thread made me want to look back through all my old photos. My work used to require me to travel a lot more... so I had the opportunity to take some pretty cool pictures. Here are a few of my favorites.

I stopped on a reallyy rural road in Thomasville and snapped this picture. I stood in the road for about 20 minutes taking pics and didn't see a single car!

Lightning

i caught this shot when a storm was approaching on the ferry from hattaras to swan Quarter....The wife was mad cause she shot about 50 trying to get the lightinng (with her very expensive camera) I shot 5 with my crappy one # 6 got this one.

what kinda cameras do you guys use?

Ive got an Olympus 1030 SW, but its more suited to point and click out in the woods, kayaking, in caves, etc.

I want something I can really control, take some art quality pics...Im looking at getting something used, a new camera is simply too expensive..

This is for Dollarhide. My brother inlaw is at 29 palms now,we just got back from there in september visiting him. Its a bifferent world out there. All kind of different things to see.The wife went a few times without me and tried to tell me about it but i didnt get it until i went myself.I am guesing u r in the military so thanks for all yall do.
