Carolina Trailblocks are a bunch of dingdongs

The original posters rant is petty if you ask me, last time I check there are several different trails with multiple entrances and exits at URE. If one of the trails is blocked because of a breakage turn around go hit another trail. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that you don't have to wait while they fix the vehicle.

I am on both sides of this I have a Jeep and I have an ATV I take both to URE and every time I go I am there to have fun. Most times if I find a blockage on the trail due to a break down I find it as enjoyable to see if I can help out and fix the problem. It is just sad this person felt the need to join NC4x4 to complain about something so petty. I got a feeling this person is a regular poster but was to afraid to use his regular screen name because he knew he was being petty.

Sorry for the long rant just wanted to get my point across!!
By the way my family and I will be joining CTB the first of the year because I have heard nothing but good things about the family environment they offer for wheeling.

I feel as if it's my duty for some damage control. Not all the atv riders are idiots. I agree with the larger vehicle yield. Any smaller vehicle should have no problem sliding over to the side.
If you see a black 450r with a red skull riding behind you, just keep on cruising. I enjoy watching your jeeps flex over the hills.
You should see the view I have being low to the ground.

Notice how he said he only sees "Jeeps flex all over the hills" that is why everyone should have a Jeep! :flipoff2:

As a member of CTB, I thank all for the kind words!
Will also note that the OP has not been back on since he posed his second, and last post. He was invited to this sight, but, it appears he has no intentions of using it for any benefit. Keep up the Ho Ho's and Ding Dong posts! LOL There in entertainment value in there somewhere!

Actually, my favorites are the ones that look like you don't plan on driving it back from the woods. The more pops and rattles, the better!

I think i'll put a camera on a lower part of the 450 as one of my winter projects. I think it would be cool.

I agree I love helping others out on the trail and never pass by someone stopped without asking if they need help. I believe the OP would NEVER help anyone on the trails at anytime :shaking:

When I read the title of the thread I did chuckle and then when I read the actual post I immediately thought how the ass was all about himself and I bet this is someone who has posted before with another name.

Cant wait till this joker breaks down on a trail an no one helps him.

seems the Club had all right to block the trail when they did

20mins isnt a long time IMO on a trail breakdown

"hours to get by" atleast be honest if your gonna be a dick

Heck, most of us ENJOY helping out on the trails. You ought to see the rush if a zuki driver sees a Jeep broken down.

Rare occasions only happen every so often, one has to ensure the have a part in a historic opportunity when it presents themselves...

It's just a Zuki thing, Kinda like the Ford Chevy thing. I would go out of my way to help anybody I saw broke and have before. It was meant as a Joke and nothing evil was meant

:)

I have a feeling that these rules were not followed by the OP when creating this account to whine.....

During our first group run we came upon a down XJ blocking Dicky Bell which was riding with two SxS's. The guy's friends in the SxS's were very indignant to their friend and us when we offered to help. We ignored their attitude and proceeded to help get the XJ to a tow-able state even offered to tow the XJ so they wouldn't damage their SxS's pulling the dead XJ. The owner of the XJ was grateful but the SxS's maintained their negative attitude towards us and the inconvenience their friend had caused them and refused to let us help any further.

This has been the basic attitude I've always run into from the ATV and SxS crowd, not saying all, but a lot.

I've ridden with the Ding Dongs at Tellico and a few other places and they have always been courteous and respectful of those around them.

just remember like a few of you said its not all the sxs guys, just like its not all the atv guys, dirtbike guys, 44" tire guys, jeep guys, chevy guys, ect.... every area has its bad seeds. every story has 2k sides. myself have been broke down in a yota (my stupidity when replacing parts got distracted and forgot to tighten) and only atvs stopped to help. flipped my old 84 chevy (again my fault inexperiance) and the jeep group that pulled up ( i think 5 rigs) all jumped out made sure i was ok and helped get me back upright with not a single negative comment to me. and on the flip side when i see someone broke down i stop to see if they need help unless 20 guys are there then i turn around. but its for atvs to full size. and final ranting thought just like can remember who said when i see someone i wave , might not smile but i dont smile much. i wonder if this will stir the pot :bounce2:
