I was having a problem with my 1995 wrangler Jeep 2.5 liter,5 speed, where it wouldn't start cold.Once it had been started it ran fine and could be cut off and restarted easily. It has slowly gotten worse and worse, now it just won't start.Everyone said Fuel Pump, which was new in April.I went out and got starting fluid and sprayed it down the throttle body,it won't start with that.So I suspected Spark,I tested it and sure enough no spark.I tested for 12V at the Coil and there is definitely 12V's there. So I am curious what y'all would do next?Could it be the coil?Dist?Crank Position Sensor? Also, there was a rectangular black block under my fuse box and I took it out because my buzzer was going on non stop.I don't know if that was some sort of ignition kill or something, but it ran after I pulled that piece. It's just the only thing I can think of.Any Info is greatly appreciated.

I don't think it was a relay. It was below the fuse box and it is a lot bigger than a standard relay, saying that I am not sure what it is.I didn't replace it,I just took it out so my key buzzer would stop buzzing.

the same thing happened to my jeep i ended up replacing the coil pack and crank position sensor and then they got burnt up and realized the computer was fried. then a week later it started back again and it was also one of my plug wires was loose you could see it spark under the hood so i replaced the plugs and it ran fine. it was funny cause it would crank when it was warm and even when i cranked it an hour after it was warm but when it sat over night it wouldnt crank till i turned it over at least twenty times.

Any codes? Could offer a clue... Unless I'm mistaken, you can do the ignition cycle (on,off,on,off,on, leave on for codes through the check engine light) trick with that year and get the codes yourself. Would probably pick up the cps if it's bad...

It sounds like from what I have been told it's just the buzzer I disconnected. So probably not that.I checked for codes,it's not giving me any.

my yota wont start either... i think that i dont have enough power from battery to turn over... it wants too but sluggish at best...

here is another thing...

i try to turn the key to 0 and take it out and all i get is click clicking noise from what it wounds like that little silver box near the fusebox.... i tried with my volvo battery too.. but same thing.. just sluggish.. i dont think my battery is strong .. either of them to turn the stater well..

i think its the battery cause that clicking i think is the dead battery indiactor.. and all my internal ligts and dash went off..

please help... it a carbed 20r i will try and jump it.. will check all the connections..

is that clicking when i try to turn column back to 0 is that the indicator that my batt is dead.

everything iside worked ... then stopped abrubtly and then whe i trie dto take out key ii get click ckick ckickk.........

any advice would be appreciated.. i see no blown fuses..

i am gonna check for spark.. fuel.. and try to jump it.. advice would be appre3ciated

COLD START JEEP AND YOTA

I could be wrong .. but I found my voltage regulator was coming up so i tightened it back down...

that buzzing i got too...

try to tighten down the regulator IF YOU HAVE ONE>. it may be UN gorunded.

in addition.. I have a carbed engine and I have to drop a bit of gas in it to get her to start right up when it cold..

I think that i need a major tune up.. plugs.. coil.. distribuotr and wheel. all of it..

I dont think this info helps... but if you have no blown fuses and you got problems.. I found recently that the grounds need to be checked and especially the regulator for the distributor IF YOU HAVE ONE>

cheers
