im gonna try to get some new springs under my rig for one last beatdown on the leafsprings and carb....time to step it up!

I can't wait for this not only to go wheel but its also my first weekend off since the last event.

WOW this is shaping up nicely!

not yet know, something from U-Joint offroad too!
Chris Bower, Out ever loved Snappy, will be bringing a bunch of T-shirts and Hats too!
Heard from one of NC4X4's vendors from afar! Dan Fredrickson is sending something for the raffle also!
Anyone who has anything they'd like to donate PLEASE let me know and I will update this as it comes in.

Looking ahead at the weather, looks as if we are gonna get lucky on the temps this year. But as always, a possible thunderstorm

Rock Corps will have some new shelters to get out of the sun and or rain, we are trying hard to also have some pic nic tables to sit down at to eat or just relax

Ahhhh the events!
Some of what we did last year, and some new stuff.

The very popular blind mans drive. EVERYONE who did this last year enjoyed it!
The Barrel race, same rules as last year, another popular game!

RTI ramp, come test it and see how your rig does!

Slow Crawl, how slow can you go!??

And the new event for this year, not yet named, is a kinda top truck challenge race. 2 different categories, based on tire size. It will be timed. It will be doable for all trail rigs, it will be fun! To be held in the Play ground area.

There will be trophy's for all of these events. Also, an over all trophy. You HAVE to participate in all events to be in the running for the over all trophy.

We will also have two other games out there
The Table Crawl, pay for a chance to beat the table, and win a prize if you have the best time.
Also, the Barbie Jeep race. This event will be held at a not yet disclosed place on the property. It's gonna be fun to watch, and funner to run!
Rules for this is pretty simple. Long pants, shoes, Helmet, and gloves. Any power wheels type toy will do, does not need to run, gravity will be your engine!

We wanted desperately to have Terry The Hot Dog Guy, there, but, he had already made plans. Bummer, but wait! His plans do not include the cart, so Chris (Snappy) and Dylan wiles will be there slinging dogs and acting up. So a genuine Hot Dog Guy Hot dog, will be available! Also helping out will be Debra, RC member Jason Watson's Better half.

more? you want more!??
The swap meet!
This will be running as early as you wanna set up, and as late as you wanna stay. Will set this up to gain good visibility of all event traffic..

Oh and I forgot to mention, if anyone just happens to want to ride the trails, yes usual times, 9 am until 9 pm.

So pack your sunscreen, bring your chairs, throw in some bug repellent, and lets ALL have a great time.

A little more insight on all the happenings!

Friday: you can come in and camp. Ride the trails. meet and get with old friends, what ever. Just no alcohol at all! Riding ends at 9:30 pm. Be off the trails.

Saturday is a busy day.
Swap meet will be the first thing going on. It can start as soon as someone is set up, and last until you want to pack up.We will have a specific place to set up. Ask when you come in and you will be directed to where to go.$10 to set up. Anything can be sold, does NOT have to be wheelin related, as long as it's legal.

Games begin @ 10:00 am and end at 2:00ish, if there is a line to do them at 2:00., you will get your chance. The playground will be mostly closed during this time due to some of the games taking place there.

The Games:

Blind Mans Drive
You must have a spotter, who will ride on the inside of the rig. You will be blind folded, and the spotter will tell you how to go. 4WD and in low range. This is not a timed event. Points will be deducted for stopping, hitting or touching a barrier, or backing up. Disqualified for removing the blind fold, even just a little! A judge will walk with you as you drive to observe and record deductions. Judges will only speak to you if you are going to damage the course, or someone is in danger. They will direct you back to where you can get a good start once again, then turn it over to your spotter. Everyone in the vehicle will be wearing belts. no exceptions.

The Rock Corps thottle up challenge
This is a timed event, where you will race the clock. You will receive time deductions for hitting a barrier or going off course. All rules will be explained prior to starting. There will be two classes. 35" and lower, 36" and taller. This will be determined by the tire size marked on your tires.

The Barrel race.
This is a speed event and is timed. You will start the race at the start finish line. Drive to mid way of the barrel, stop, turn off vehicle, unbuckle your seat belt, then(three options)
1. you get out, run around your vehicle, get back in, buckle up and drive to the start finish line.
2. You and your passenger will stop mid way of the barrel, and change places(run half way around), both buckle back up and go
3. passenger gets out at mid point of barrel runs around, and back in, go when buckled back up.

You must stop on the line, if you cross it, you have to back up. and stop. Center of hub on the line

RTI ramp

You will be judged by how far you go up the ramp, and your wheel base will be calculated in to get your RTI score. Judges will start you and stop you when you have a tire off the ground.

Slow Crawl

There will be a start and a finish line. You will start when told. No brakes, low range, no feet on pedals, time ends when you cross the finish line.

Remember, to be eligible for the over all, you have to compete in all events.

Awards will be given at the end of the day. Looking at 5:00. After the awards we will have the raffle.

Raffle tickets will be sold all day long. There will be a location to buy these. If you want to buy tickets, and you can not be present to win, you will need to either leave your tickets with someone, or, you will need to write your name and number clearly on the back. If you choose to do this, have someone there who can pick this up and deliver for you. We will not be responsible for delivering any prizes!
If at the end of the raffle, you have won a prize and do not want to keep it for what ever reason, you may donate it back, and it will be auctioned off, with all money going toward the benefit.

After the raffle open riding will be allowed until 9:30 pm

Camp if you want, we hope you do. Riding can start again at 9:00 am Sunday morning.

Food will be provided Saturday by The Hotdog guy. He will not be there, but he has some highly trained individuals stepping up to dish out the grub! Terry has pledged a donation, and the more you eat, the more he can donate! Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available!

Any questions, please just ask we will do our best to respond promptly! Hope to see many of you out there for a full day of fun.

Rock Corps 4X4 thanks you in advance for coming out!
