My wife is thinking she wants a new grand.

any one with any first hand experience with them?

Probably going to go with a Larado X 4x4 w/ the V6
unless i can talk her in to the CRD

let me know what you think
 
We had an 05.. Close to the same.. Loved it.. Had to get rid of it when gas went sky high, we had the hemi
 
i would advise to get the 4.7 V8 or the hemi because its kind of a big suv for the little v6 i think the mpg would be better on one of the v8's because its not working as hard

but thats my opinion, we have an 05 rocky mountian edition with the 4.7. its been a good jeep so far
 
love my 05 but the mpg is not that great with 32 on it this past weekend i got 15 mpg on the way to the beach yeeaaaa!! lol but other than that its been great
 
we have an '05 grand with the V6.. only issue we had was the switch under shifter to let you shift manually had to be replaced.

It is my wifes car.. she gets around 15 to 16 in town and we usually get 22 to 24 on longer highway triops, like when we go to FLorida.

V6 has plenty of power unless you want that seat of the pants feeling..

I have taken it on the beach and it did better then some true 4x4.. I have also towed some light stuff (pop up camper) with no issues..

I am very pleased with this Jeep.
