We did that to the kitchen this year. I love the look was not quite as easy as I had hoped to get up there though.

Yea....if its long pieces thatstwisted or bowed it can be fight to get it to lock in without popping back out on the other end.
Got baseboards nailed up and a coat of paint on. Plywood on reading area down. I had a thiught today that i better build a bookshelf on top of the half wall in that area to double as fall prevention into the stairwell .
Also scratching my brain on murphy style shelf/door that leads into the unfinished attic...I want it to fully open to the finished side out of the way but most of the hidden hinges pivot in the door frame...

Would something like a cabinet hinge work?
In my brain it needs to pull out first, then swing open in order for the casing to clear the wall and it'll probably have some weight to it so a regular cabinet hinge probably won't be heavy duty enough.
