2007 Moab trip

This was our 3rd year making the 2000 mi trip (one way) and worth every mile.

Sweet! (All except for the last one.) Wish I could take my yota out there when I go this summer (CO) but we're flying. I'll have to rent a jeep and rediscover "that Jeep thing".

SO how many days did it take total for the trip??

We left on Thurs (4/12) at 6:00pm and arrived in Moab 33 1/2 hours later (1:30am Sat Moab time). Drove an F350 crew dually with 30' gooseneck and 2 Jeeps.Wheeled Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs.Headed back Friday (4/20) morning and arrived in NC Sat evening, 33hrs to get home. Had an awsome time. Met up with 13 other Jeeps from various states for our 3rd annual run. We will be heading out again last week of April 2008 if anyone is interested.

Sweet pics. We just got back ourselves! We did the Poison Spyder Mesa trail, Golden Spike, Pritchet canyon, Potato Salad and Upper Helldorado at BFE. This was my first trip and I know where my tax returns will be spent last year!

We have a few of the hot tub (the larger one) The smaller one had about 2' of water mixed with grease and oil ..nasty! I will find them and post a few. Combined we have over 4000 pics.

I went the week of Easter Sunday. My rig is actually a bronco with a toyota cab. I restore Early Bronco's and got tired of bashing my Bronco body and put it on another frame.

I've been out to Moab a few times, it is an AMAZING place. I hope you enjoyed Dump Bump, Hells Gate, and Lion's Back because next time you go there it will be closed down. Pritchett is my favorite trail because of all the scenery and the crazy rock formations. It sucks that Cliffhanger has gotten pretty much paved over but alot of the trails out there are getting that way. Here are a couple pics from my last trip...
