2011 Annual CNC-4x4 Beach Bash

The CNC-4x4 club's annual Beach Bash will be held September 9-11 at Carolina Beach at the "north end" (Freeman Park).

This event is similar to our Spring and Fall flings, but less about planned activities - mostly a day or three to hang at the beach and enjoy each the company of like-minded folks.

As an official club event, the Beach Bash can be used to satisfy the club's requirement for new members to attend at least one event before joining - so we encourage anybody interested in the club to stop by, visit, get to know us, and see if they're interested in becoming a member.

You'll find us easily enough as we'll be flying the club's banner, with the official gathering at 12:00pm on Saturday the 10th. So come out to enjoy what we hope to be a great weekend at the beach and meet some CNC folks!

just made my condo reservations this evening. Will be there starting the 10th through the 17th. Can't wait! What better way to spend vacation than on the beach with friends!

We will be at our place on Oak Island and fishing at Fort Fisher. May run up but not sure if I want to pay the entry fee for CB.

You can tell which one of us likes to cook...

We had a nice time this year. Didn't catch much in the way of fish, but definitely fed them! Got to practice a bit with our new throw net - caught some nice free bait that way. Sat. night dinner was great, couldn't have done it without help tho. This fat man is running a little slow these days. Son Nick (next to last pic in the red chair) did all the heavy lifting. Shawn kept me on track and shopped for all the groceries. Tony and Doug and anybody else that was around on Fri. helped get the canopy up. Everybody else to take it down Sat. night. Lots of volunteers to shuck oysters...

This is a great time for us to relax and spend time together without just staring at the vehicle in front of us on a trail, no carnage, time and space for kids, etc. so we enjoy it.
