2017 superduty

Yea I prefer a dually I dd one so I'm use to em, service body that's just a bonus!

why would I ever use their lender.

A friend of mine is the owner of a motorcycle stealership in GSO, and told me they get a .5% cut off of every motorcycle financed there at the dealer, every single month. I.e. every time the customer makes a payment they get 1/2 a % point cut
I was shocked, but not shocked at the same time. I assume this is true for auto stealerships as well..hence why they want you in that finance office so bad and not come in pre-approved with a set dollar amount ready to negotiate

Most, yes.

I bought my wifes Honda (used) from this guy: USA'S BEST PRICED USED CARS in NC, SC, NJ, NY, CT, LA, MD, GA, WA, NV. Mainly because he had the best price by far, but he was great to deal with. He doesn't finance in house, keeps most or all his cars inside, and he mostly buys cars with extremely low or high mileage to corner his market. Worth taking a look at his inventory.

You gotta be smarter than the flatbillers. Buy the truck they don't look cool in. Duallys, C and Cs, service bodies, etc. Normally theyre rhousands cheaper. When I get to a point where I need a diesel, that's what I plan to do.

Ding, Ding, Ding! Exactly what I did back in Oct... bought a USED '04 F-350 6.0L auto SC 4x4 C&C dually with electric windows/locks without a bed (106k miles) for less than most WTO 25 year old 1/2 ton trucks were asking. Threw a 9' x 8' steel flatbed on it, had a shop swap some injectors, FICM module, etc. and built a set of sideboards this weekend for *WAY UNDER* $10k.

Granted, this truck is a work truck (read: cloth seating, sexy hail damage, scratches, dents, still filthy inside), but I won't cry when it gets scratched/dented, will be paid off in year, and should drag about anything I put behind it... for 1/4 of the flatbiller edition trucks.

Chrome, don't get you home! :flipoff2:

I didn't quite get the deal YOU got...but 6 years ago (damn...it's been 6 years!) I flew to Indiana to buy and drive home, a 2005 F-350 6.0L 6-speed, CC, SWB, DRW, 4x4, Lariat for $19k that had 75k on it.
At the time, it was only 5 yrs old, and I was looking for CC 4x4 F150's and NOTHING was anywhere under $20k. Didn't NEED a dually, but I couldn't pass it up. My only conditions were it had to be <$20k, black, 4x4 and fit in the garage. It has 1-3/4" to spare :D

I drove it home and took it straight to Trucks Unlimited up the street for oil cooler, EGR delete, etc. and have never had a problem

Yeah that whole "cab off the frame in under 30 minutes" impressed the HELL out of me too. Once he showed me that I was like "Dude, you can do ALL my service work!"

0517161802.jpg Back on track....this dude likes the 2017 super duty and spending some coin on it. I sold and installed a few goodies for him. I cant aford one but I can help them be more useful.0517161221.jpg

The lights on that thing are so big the brush guard looks retarded. There has to be about a 2ft gap between the top and bottom of the light protection bars.

That angle makes it worse, but yes hidden way deep in all that headlight plastic is the same ol tiny bulb...big tall engine, big tall grill, big tall headlights. The engine bay is scary full of trinkets wistles and woohoos.

Well it took 19 years but they finally have a different look.

Maybe in 19 more they will be able to get one that looks good. I love the old square body 4 door long bed Ford's but I haven't liked a single body style since 97
I agree with you. Seems like we used to load those old 94 95 models and pull the same stuff we do now. Back then who would ever thought today's trucks would have more electronics than GE.

Yeah, and the frames only cracked once in a while. The body mounts collapsing was kind of a pain in the ass, though.
The body mounts still do we've had this problem with at least 2 different 14s at work.

Making f250 back glass right now. We only make about 1k a month or so. But make f150 back glass 12k every week
