2nd Annual Uwharrie 4x4cross Jamboree - May '09

I'm probably missing it, but where's the ticket info? how to / where to buy?

http://www.4x4crossracing.com/20094x4crossinfo.html there ya go man

Uhm.....is there a 2WD class? it would be REALLY cool to see some rail buggys out there.

You don't actually have to have 4wd to race, its your choice, if you have a decent prerunner setup you aught to do decent in A and B class. But I mean, as long as you pay to enter, you could bring a schoolbus with airplane wings and twin mercury outboards on the back for all I care ;) :driver:

Sweet it's settled, now I know what I'm driving ^^^ :driver:

Ricky, do you know the length of the 4x4Cross track, in Km, or mi, feet, furlongs, anything? At least an estimate?

.....As far as the course would you guys feel better if we did like a video ride along and posted on you tube? Or do you just wanna wait till the prerun day and hear others feedback? I personally don't have a video camera to do the ride along thing with thou . . .

Ricky, I can help with that.
Lets get our schedules together and I'll ride out with the DV and post up a good quality vid of the track.
Also take some pics and post up a gallery somewhere.
This should help alleviate some of the procrastinators' worries or whatever..
:driver:

thanks I completly missed it

Not a prob man :driver:

Sweet man

Sorry for sounding like a dumbass here, but I know nothing about this event. After reading a little bit here and there about last years it sounds like a lot of fun.

Couple questions:

Can people come to watch even if we don't have a 4x4/are not a member of a club?

If spectators are allowed, are there campsites nearby that are accessible with 2WD trucks that get stuck on wet grass, let alone with a midsize travel trailer behind them?

yes to both of your questions. i think it is $30 for the weekend. that includes your camping and getting into the event. check out the website to find out more info about it.

Thats been there since day one, if it wasn't on there stock then it knocks you up to C class

Ricky is camping free for competitors, with full paid registration etc?

Come on guys don't be afraid of the NOS...Sign up.... I cannot see were that could help you much... (more likely hurt) Don't forget Last years 3rd place was taken by a 4 cyl toyota motor....in the D class... Finishing seconds behind v8s and sponsorships......So i believe keeping it together is half the race.....

I'll certainly be there.
On a side note, it'd be cool if there was a mobile Dyno like some of the larger diesel events.

Sounds like a cool idea, i don't even know how I'd go about getting ahold of one of those thou . . .

But I mean if you wanna show off your diesel then just hook her up friday night at the Big Loader Tire Truck Pull Comp :driver:

btw: spread the word about the Loader tire pull comp to all your diesel drivin friends, wanna see some black smoke blowin out there friday night
