Question # 3

SO......WOULD THIS BE COVERED BY
HOUSE INSURANCE,
CAR INSURANCE,
OR,
DOES IT COME UNDER ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE ???

:wtf:Thats gotta be a shop job...gotta be. Even single wides have more axles than that!

Cant see the house in the reflection..?

sure it up a bit and you got a nice river front home. I would then cut a hole in the floor for late night fishing...

If they just took the house off and left the frame, throw down some plywood and about 3400 bags of asphalt patch, it'd be good to go.

hell, i say throw the welcome mat out and pat yourself on the back.

What I really want to know is how did they ever get it back on the road? It would take one hell of a crane to move that house if not more than one and some pretty fancy rigging.

rated for 75,000lbs lifting... but you're right, probably a big mobile crane..

we get 60 ton cranes "regularly" to set large units...

Not that the units ever weigh that much but if you get in trickier picks or sits where you are boomed way out or off camber you have to multiply

I have no idea what a house weighs but 60T should cover it

lol, how much do you have to multiply by...cause i am going to assume that is going to be a tricky pick!

Nah! Easy pick! There's a big ol' hole under the middle to throw a sling.
The set shouldn't be too bad either.
Now the swing might be a bit interesting!

Hahaha

you know you make a hell of a point...i was talking with a customer when I typed that and just reading my post that does sound a bit ridiculous....LOL

Sorry

i was working in galveston and we had a 1000 ton hydralic rig there that would lift that and not even need the 6 truck loads of counter weights that showed up with it. unbeliveable rig.

When I worked in Houston years ago we had to have Maxim bring one of those in to do a pick on a substation transformer that was behind a building and a process pipe rack. I wished I had pictures of that thing. IIRC it took a 350 to assemble the 1000, and at least 8 hours on either end of the pick for set up and tear down.
