well, now you've gone and hurt my feelings.
Drop it to $300-400 and I'm down. Not sure who would be my partner but it sounds fun.
yeah you're right. I lost those when my balls dropped. However, I do feel for you. Toting yours around with that vagina must get old.You have feelings? Lol
there you have it @LoganwayneI'll be your partner.
I'm a dickhead too so it'll add that extra flavor of competition.
I discussed it with my girlfriend and she said, "How about we take the $1500 and your three days of vacation and go rent a house on the beach and do that instead."

I'm with him on this one!! I'm going to use three days of my vacation and $1500 to take his girlfriend to the beach!!I called Scott to get more info. From what he said, it didn't sound like a lot of it would be on the national forest land (which makes sense because trails might become clogged, etc). He said that he had lined up like, 3 or 4 big properties that would hold the event. About 80% was wheeling/navigation, 10% was shotgun shooting (skeet I think?), and 10% was canoeing. Pretty much the awesome.
The $1500 was a deal breaker for me, unfortunately since I think I could be competitive. I discussed it with my girlfriend and she said, "How about we take the $1500 and your three days of vacation and go rent a house on the beach and do that instead." I concur with her assessment. $1500 is a lot of money to prepare a vehicle and then go potentially destroy it.
This sounds like more of a competition rather than a race. It will be more important to just have a good reliable trail rig rather than a beater racer.
I'm betting there will b a lot of bickering and back and forth about "This vehicle is better than that one", but it won't make a damn bit of difference.I'm betting a Landrover will win

But yeah. Low speed. Probably some guy with a mildly built JK will win. Not because it'll be technically difficult. But because its new and won't break down.
Almost but no cigar. It will be a 4 door Tacoma w a factory locker on 35ish tires.

If I had $1500 to blow I'd get my best friend to match it and just go to Moab.
$1500 buys me 740 gallons or so, @7 mpg towing average I can probably make it safely 5000 miles.
