450 hp LS1 on 87?

What cam? Cam specs play a big role in compression bleed off.

Internet says it's 10.1 comp ratio. So yes it may be safe with 87 but more engine specs would be necessary to really answer.

Almost certainly heads and cam. That was the magic formula in the early 2000's. Then throw on a 150 shot of Nitrous for good measure and tickle 10's in the 1/4 mile if I remember right.

Well, specs are unknown. Just know it has a cam and 243 heads. Honestly, the 450 was just a flat out guess.

Pretty sure 243s were the factory heads for a LS Juan. It’s doable with cam only with supporting mods, but 93 and throwing some timing in it would be the easiest way to hit those numbers. If it’s still using the knock sensors it will just be down on power and pull timing according to the guy that tuned my k5. This was a specific question I asked him because it’s tuned on 93, but I asked that what if I can’t get 93 for it. Asking before I google, is it with tighter lob separation angle, it will bleed off more compression lowering the dynamic compression ratio?

If running 87 is your qualifier, I wouldn't be looking at a Vette. It'll still find a way to soak up all your money and less than 15 bucks difference, per tank, at the pump won't be it!

Not sure, but I'll speculate oem. It's all tied in to the obd.

Well, you might have a hard time with a v70, they are fwd.
