4x6 Trail/work trailer suggestions and pricing

i'd hire you to burn wire.....hell that is better then some of my students by far.
Thanks! I’m gettin better on mig slowly the thin stuff on mig, well I’m not the best at yet. lol Ive been puttin in a shit ton of hood time at home when i can.

Top Rails are done until I find a tailgate that suites me! Added some angled bracing and will be putting sheet metal or diamond plate on the Inside bolting to the tube at some point mainly I want to finish floor and tongue and find some tires of decent size!

Wish I would have went with a wider axle or a d35 maybe so I would have tire clearance may swap axle out on the fence really don’t want normal trailer tires on this lol

You could use a minivan rear axle to get by on the cheap. Or weld some unit bearings in a piece of pipe the right size. Or get a set of rear hubs off a fwd that uses a stub that bolts on and make it fit a tube and weld it in and roll. The 2004 Sebring (all years that generation for sure) is made that way.

I seen those minivan axles work good for single axle trailer I maycgo that route if I build a overland style one I’ve got a few d35 and 10 bolts I could use too maybe! I’m decking this trailer and I’m done I’m it I gotta get some time in on my rig before weather comes I on me lol

Boxed the tongue and cut to length

I’m probably going to sleeve the tongue to make it adjustable later on bc at 4’ it’s long and feels weak to me lol I may be overkillimg it I dunno I’d prefer safe tho lol

So little update on this thing I’m gonna install a ramp instead of a gate bc I plan to sell it soon after and I know Ramps will be most useful for a buyer! With that being said should I go with 4’ Ramp or 5’? I already have 20’ of tube for it, no mesh yet I may use 1.5 angle with the V down instead of mesh depending on pricing. So will 4’ be good enough ramp length I thinks it’s standard for 4x6s!? Decks all done except one middle piece I’m gonna possible run a piece of metal down instead of wood just for cool factor lol light brackets are on the wiring is left to do and welding on the huge chains i have for it!
Wish I would have went with a 3k axle now bc it’s strong enough to hold way more than 2k! Oh well! Also what’s a good price to list for a trailer like this the shitty ass tsc 4x6 go for $500 and are turds in comparison to rigidity and strength!? Any inputs welcome I may have about $350-400 in materials sincecall was new stuff!

So my final total in material is $425! I’m seeing these 4x6 1375 trailers go for 350-500. This one has 2-2k leafs, 2600lb hubs 2k axle and will have 6 ply 205/75/15 3600lb tires! What’s this little project worth listing for?? Tube is all 1/8” wall, frame is 1/4” pressure treated 2x6 floor! Cmon it’s gotta be worth at least $3,450 in today’s markets if I slap a big C on it!!
