$50 Finders Fee: Trailer Hitch within 30 miles of Charlotte

The membership fees are what kept me from it (following Rich's experience with his...yeah I'm not worthy)

Yup yup! Once you get into Porsche specific parts, there is zero aftermarket, once the vehicle gets past a certain age it isn't even supported by Porsche, all parts need to come from Donors....be sure to pull the rip cord before then!

I had a Cayenne Turbo once - that remains the best car purchase I ever made.

I wont do it again most likely...just too pretentious for my taste...and didnt like the attention.
But I made a stupid amount of money in 6 months.

Speaking of Porsche parts, my mom has a 2015 911 Carrera(no turbo). They bought it used and that is one of the best cars I've had the pleasure of driving. 6 speed manual and it absolutely screams. It really loves getting up to 5k+ to put the power down. My mom babies the hell out of that car and might put 30 miles on it a week. It got to the point where she went to crank it up and the water pump was leaking. That was a $2500 bill at the Porsche dealership along with some other maintenance parts.

She now drives it regularly.

Ours is the E-hybrid S and Porsche certified it with a 2 year unlimited mile bumper to bumper warranty. So we’ll enjoy it for two years and like what was said above, yank the rip cord if I sense any pending big issues post warranty.

We traded my wife’s 2016 Rubicon Hard Rock and it swayed and bounced so much (Mopar 2” lift and 35”s) my family would get car sick on every car ride. Of course... that could be due to bad driving :). The JK’s best trip got 16mpg, so far the Cayenne’s best trip was 50mpg. And no one has gotten car sick. Plus it was several thousand dollars less than the JK.

With a warranty in hand is the only way to travel in most German vehicles! Sounds like you made a better decision than most!

My Porsche was the only car I have ever owned that anyone other than me thought was cool!

Oh there was no doubt it was a sweet ride.
But just personality it wasnt me. Id pull up to pick up the kids and it was a cocked eye brow from a parent, or a look in a gas station or whatever....

Im more the millionaire with 100k in the bib of the overalls type than the flashy mcmansion.
Of course where I live plays in as well. In your neck of the woods itd blend in much more..

I'm between WFU and HPU

I'm pretty sure 30% of the kids at both colleges drive them. Another 30% are in range rovers. I'm actually surprised how many of them I see on a weekly basis. Started thinking they were affordable (well....MY kind of affordable, which is I've never spent more than $20k for a vehicle)

They're not
