I know Hennessy made some mistakes in the past, but he's grown beyond that now. He started like a lot of guys on here & grew so fast with such little staff that he wasn't running his business well. He's since hired the right people & is doing much better. His Venom GT wouldn't have been possible they way things used to go. Take a listen to some podcast on The Smoking Tire & Carcast. He's pretty frank about it.

That sounds good and all, but there are plenty of other shops that build badass cars that haven't had his history. If I had the money, I wouldn't consider him still due to his past much better options out there.
 
Seriously though, that car will never get abused. It's now a part of hot rod history. Now more people know how low mileage original cars appreciate. Think of all the times you thought "if I could just go back in time".... I know of several cars 'd like to go back and buy...
