Thanks!

Was finally getting the fuel tank mounted up and the return line, right side in the pic, is too tall and hitting the floorboard. I've gotta rethink my fittings here to get this flush with the top of the tank.. I'm sort of thinking I can ditch the 90 and attach the hose straight to the 45, but this hose isn't very forgiving and I don't know if my routing will work with that plan.

Can the whole pump be rotated 90 degrees so you only need the one elbow?

No it's indexed to reach a sump in the middle of the tank.
I am half tempted to pull the assembly back out and sweat that piece to tube out and start over ... but I'm also lazy which will lead to maybe 2x the amount of work but I'll perceive it as "easier".

Put another 45 on it and lean it any way you want.

Crazy that getting the gas tank in is a win, but here we are.
It’s “mocked” right now. I connected the fuel lines to make sure they cleared but didn’t connect anything else because I was tired of the back and forth.

I didn’t snag a picture, but @RQ I ended up replacing the 90 with a 45 on the return and replaced the supply side with a 90 off the 5/16 tube.

Meant to hit edit and not reply … also why didn’t it tag with the @ symbol?

Now that the tank is figured out I’m back on the exhaust, which should be my final step before I can start it.

I stopped the exhaust because I thought I needed to raise the system up to clear the skid plate, but mocking it up with some shims I think it will be fine once I get everything hung.

I also think I’m going to change my plan. I was originally going straight to 3” from the stock 2.25” collector. My plan now is to go to 2.5” straight from the Y, expand to 3” to utilize the cat and muffler I already bought, reduce back down to 2.5” the rest of the way. Also going to throw a bellows between the Y and the cat.
