Your right there wasn't one to begin with and that B-pillar is a add on piece to the top of that rocker panel from the factory we just drilled out the spot welds and it came right off. So why not just take it off and make it more sturdy and have a good place to start the new B-pillar.

Here are some pics of the top truss and i made triple sure that it was not going to be a skull buster. We also added a truss at the top line of the dash more security but most of all an Oh shit handle. Ha Ha

This bender is built locally by a guy that has been making them for a while, less than $500 for the bender and if you want different dies i think those are $250 but he really does a good job. If you want i could get you his # just let me know. And thanks we should be finishing up on the cage by the weekend i will post more pics.
