Will try to take over the outdoor patio, if weather is too bad we will move inside.

After the meet those interested will ride up to Jons shop to hang out, and discuss the next meet and greet, which I believe will be at the shop, in mid October. Probably a BBQ.

Shop Address: 1017 Tarrant Rd, Greensboro, NC 27409

The shop is right around 3 miles from the Hams location.
 
If we ever do one of these in a field or a more private setting, my bossman is a DJ and doesnt mind doing free gigs.
 
Was intending to do it at Jons shop and have a cookout, but was just not able to get enough information from everyone to get it organized and give enough notice, hopefully at this meet we will discuss it and I will let you know, thanks for the offer.

im coming, ill try an round up my diesel crew and a few more again. i managed 7 people with me last time, ill try an get more.

Yeah, talk the guys with the XJ's into riding out, might be an interesting night, never know where we will end up. :beer:

Thinking either the 9th or 16th for right now, will let you know more once everything is set in stone

why do the meet and greet the same day as an open ride? you could met and greet at dpg and wheel all at the same time.
 
I know some folks will not want to drive out, its been hard enough to get people to come to restaurants locally. I mean as little as a 5 mile difference and people will not come. On top of that, the DPG event doesn't have times posted so I don't know the hours. Its just easier to meet at a local restaurant for now, the time of the meet will allow folks to go to the DPG for the day and still make it out. This was the date selected by people interested in coming to the Meet and Greet.

The DPG events usually start around 9-10am, and most folks leave around 3-6pm.
 
Well, replaced my ECU and battery today in the XJ, pricy fix but needed done, tagging the jeep is more of a PITA than anything else, I don't drive it enough for it to be a worthwhile expense.

Surprised there isn't more interest this time around, or maybe they just aren't posting here. Anyone bringing extras with them? SwamperXJ and a few others will be coming with me. SwamperXJ owns the shop where we are planning to host the next meet.

i should have most of my crew, for now ill say at least 4. the guy with the blue dually with mud tires and stacks on it wont be there, he leaves for GA sunday for a new job. actually having a big cook out/party for him this friday if any of you guys would like to come just PM me.

Good to hear the diesel crew with be back, buddy of mine with a Cummins should be coming out, hes been taking it out to the mud pits lately.
