maybe got 2 guys and maybe more waiting to hear back maybe a couple from bragg
 
Got a buddy of mine coming in his cummins, maybe a few buddies coming in there rides, may have the cummins tow my jeep, since the jeep isn't legal... may drive it... depends on my mood, its at the shop right now. (3 miles away)
Going to the lexington mudpits sunday I believe if any of you guys come out that way. Should be my jeep, my brothers jeep, buddies cummins, and a few others, plus the usual group out there.

What Sunday you talking about? the 26th? IF I get my jeep back with new tcase and have time to get new driveshaft :shaking: and tires I am in. My jeep needs a good mud bath.

He got stuck as all hell after about 8 feet, the pits are so dry, the mud in the few muddy areas was so thick it was insane. I will try to save it to my computer and upload it or something...
Tried to post... didn't work... anyone know how, or can do it, let me know and I will give you the link, it says because the videos private I cant download it. Ill see if he cant just email it to my phone 2moro and then Ill go from there.

My buddy towed my jeep there since its not tagged/insured, james jeep died on 85 on the way home, we pulled off, unloaded my jeep, loaded his on the trailer and drove mine on his tags the rest of the way home, sucks but better than leavin his jeep on the road, had the the cummins followed us in my jeep the whole way back. My brother tore his front spiders out, forunatly I had picked him up a hp d30 saturday from a guy off NAXJA, so his jeep should/maybe be on the road by the time of the meet.

We are discussing going back next sunday, but only if it rains this week.
 
link worked for me, thats awesome. i love when people aint skeered of the skinny pedal. which that skinny pedal is the reason i spent 6 hours in the middle of the rock garden at uwharrie replacing the driver side axle shaft on the front and rear of my buddys grand cherokee! lol good times.

He only had a front towpoint at the time, and instead of wrapping the strap around his leaf/shackle he wrapped it around the axle, and he was stuck good, so it took a few good snatches from me to get him out, pulled on his axle so much the shaft came out of the t case and had to replace the u joint. Got it fixxed, just a culmination of alot of things.

I think he must have it set to friends of friends, You and Knob probably have a few friends shared.
 
Can't make this one. Heading to the beach to do some fishing and flounder gigging.

Flounder gigging! man i been hearing so much about that, a guy at work is sayin he's gonna take me with him next time. i cant wait! good luck man.

but yeah sorry to say i aint gonna make this one either. finaly got a helping hand on my Samurai and found a motor, gonna be turning wrenches on it for the whole weekend, hopefully it will be up and running by saturday evening. :driver:

thanks, yeah its pretty fun, nothing like spearing a fish haha, just gotta remember to blink.

98XJ, the UFC fight starts at 10 pm, you would have plenty of time to come hangout and still make it to buffalo wild wings with time to spare...

cash flow is low XJ free to eat at home, lol.

i may pop up, depends on how my progress goes saturday. if i get frusterated i know ill stop. it sure would be nice to get up and see everyone again.
 
I feel you there, just trying to get everyone to show up. Let me know if you need a hand, my bro and I can probably come out, I haven't done an engine swap before but he has.

Yeah but to get a table you gotta be there at 7:30. But i will see. No promises though.

Dunno yet. Gonna be working on bed rails for the jeep truck so I'm not sure.

My old niebor should be coming, he recently got an AWD Durango, he wants to take it to URE so I figured no harm. My buddy Jake and his girl will probably be coming out in his Cummins. Few others... I usually assume there will be 1 person with every person coming, some bring 2, some bring none, so it works out.

Look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

Also, Jon asked me to let everyone know he can make vinyl decals etc... for your rigs if your interested. Recently got the vinyl machine at the shop, he made race decals for Chris (71chevytruckguy) a few weeks ago and they turned out great.
 
Sounds like its going to be good time. Hate I'm missing this one, but the flonder aint going to gig themselves. And as much as I have tried the bue fish and mullet won't just jump in the cooler. Got a fun story tho. Most remember my bike. If any one knows much about carolina beach, I rode a wheelie all the way across the bridge that you cross to get on the island and a cop saw me and pulled me over. Just gave me a verbal warning thank god. Said he could have wrote me for reckless endangerment and impounded my bike. Gave me a stern talking to but said he's never seen anyone ride one all the way across the bridge haha. He was in a late 90's unmarked jimmy that was green. Never would have known it was a cop.

Drink a few for me tomorrow.

haha that is a good story. Did you ride the bike all the way from here to Carolina beach?

I'll be there tomorrow, might be a little late. I'm going down to Hilton head to pick up jeep in the morning.
 
Nah Scott strapped the bike to the back of the TJ, interesting pictures, found out tonight a kid I have known since I was 12 worked with ya at carmax though, I hadn't seen him for years.

You got lucky though, the cops at kure are ok, the closer you get to myrtle, the bigger asshats they are. nice wheelie tho.

As far as picking up a jeep goes, my trailer has been at the shop for a week, and its been used 2x that werent related to me, if you need any help tim let me know.
