I believe I met him at the last one briefly, he was talking with Dogdog130 while I kind of made my rounds and tried to talk to everyone.

Anyone have an adjustable track bar your wanting to sell today? Really need it, if we can get it probably swap my brothers front end tonight and go to the mud pits tomorrow.
 
I'm trying to find one myself. A guy on CF builds them with a new Trac bar attachment too. If your interested let me know, I'll hunt the link down for you

I guess so yeah, though I would really rather buy locally today or early tomorrow so we can get the jeep ready to go, my brother is talking about bringing the go cart to the mud pits to drive around, hes having withdrawal problems Lol.

They are real dry right now, and actually for sale, but if you wanna go tomorrow let me know. There are some trails there, but because they are dry its almost no challenge other than a few mud holes. I feel you though, I still need to add front tow points, but I can't weld, so I have to get Jon or someone else to do it, last week when we went Jon welded a towpoint on James jeep, only had one hook around so made due, the way he got stuck was no way to use it, so they asked my friend Knob to hook it to the axle, not sure why he wanted it hooked there instead of the shackle but whatever, took some serious pullin with my jeep to get him out because his jeep overheated and wouldnt crank. Moved his axle back about an inch at and his DS fell out. Heres a picture of my heep getting pulled out of one of the holes, probably could have made it if I had a 5 speed, jeep kept shifting into 2nd and there goes my wheel spin.

Nice man, sounds good, beers on me then. Im going to call Hams and let them know we will be coming, at 6 pm I don't think it will be an issue, but I know around 7-8 that place gets crazy because of Buffalo Wild Wings and the UFC fights... Speaking of which, 98XJjeep, buffalo wild wings is next door, so come to the meet and then walk over there.

Well, I talked to a girl named Sarah, she said they will have something ready on the porch, but I couldn't really give a serious number so I said anywhere from 10-20. I did this last time though at the kernersville Hams and when I got there they had no idea we were coming and we had to move along of things around to make it work.

well, after a great turnout at the meet and greet, bad service as usual, myself and blackxj's food was almost free, we had asked for our checks multiple times and never got them, everyone else had, so after waiting and waiting, we walked out to the vehicles, where James appeared with our checks. Go figure when we are wanting them, we cant get them, when we give up, they appear.

BlackXJ is a great guy, and I expect I will see him alot outside of the meets, was going to do a little trail riding tonight behind the shop but I slipped, and having shitty ankles isn't good, ankle popped like hell and I just sat in the mud for about 5 minutes before 2 buddies helped me get into the jeep, made it home about an hour ago, got some pain pills in me and a ace bandage on it, gonna go to the doctor in the morning, figure its just a sprain but better safe than sorry.

I can't think of how many vehicles were there, but we had a huge turnout, had the diesels and Scott and all the others been there it would have been crazy, as it was there was too many vehicles to get in a picture... Ole Blue has pictures, so do probably alot of others.

Really didn't get to talk about the next meet and greet like i wanted to, but we can do that now. Jon wants to do it at the shop still, some of you guys came up to the shop and met Jon tonight, I think it could be done fairly well up there. Let me know your thoughts.

My niebor (took the pictures) wanted to be involved so he shoved his 05 stocker durango in the line. No harm haha, but its AWD not 4x4. A few vehicles didn't get in the line (We ran out of spaces) including black00xj and Zach from CF, and maybe a few others...
 
I think the shop would be a great place for it. Maybe get Jon's Jeep done that night and take it on the Maiden Voyage. Start a new thread....Oct. 16 Meet-n-Greet

Will do it shortly, I think Jon is going to try to do a build thread... and he doesn't have gears/shafts/front coils and some other things, plus with all the fab work he is talking about doing, it definately won't be a day project.
Junkyard XJ build lol... Could do that, wrench party and get his jeep done. Would have to start it early though. I will talk to Jon first and make sure that date works for him. Hes definately still asleep though.

Jon was talking about doing a big barbeque the next time, I just want to make sure he is ok with this still, and whatever it takes to get it planned.
 
Sounds like a plan to me. Liz wants my wife to come next time, she said shes tired of being the only girl there. Is this considered forum tag, from one forum to another?
