I am not one for build threads. I am usually too busy to stop and take pics. With that here is a few pics of something I have been working on for a while.
This started out as project "Slowmanche" and grew legs from there. It was originally a 2wd 4-speed manual shortbed pickup and boy was it slowwwww!!
I dont have pics of the progress, sorry. Its not done now but its close!
I bought this truck early last year and drove it 100 miles a day back and forth from work. tHe 17 MPG was killing me so I decided a motor upgrade was necessary to give me what I needed.
We started doing the interior mods right away and converted it to buckets and a concole, power windos, locks, and mirrors, an overhead console. Added a bunch of woodgrain and bingo we had a king ranch MJ.
The "Romanche" was born.
We added a cherry picker one day and "Towmanche" was born
We added the 20's and slammed it also gave it a two tone flat black and white paint job and BAM the "Lo-Manche" was alive.
Later we swapped the 20's for a set of 22's and the "Bro-Manche" was here
SOOOOO......I found a smoking deal on a slightly used 4.7 stroker and I searched for a wasted 94 XJ 2wd auto as a donor.
Project "Go-Manche" started to take shape!
So here are the pics of what we ended up with. specs to follow.
