Okay, here it goes (I know I could have spent the time to look through the forums, but I am a lazy bastard today):

Turning my steering wheel from left to right 100% will produce a sound around 10~15% of return back to center from both sides. Seems to be a thump sound. Looked at the drag link and the sway bar bushings (read somewhere that these going bad could produce a sound like that)or track bar bushings. I could jack up the wheel and see if it wobbles and goes up and down, that would be the drag link or the bearings.

Also, when starting off, I get an odd sound from it taking off, kind of like it is completely hesitant... Not like an engine problem, more like a drive train problem.

If there is anyone in the Statesville area that wouldn't mind taking a look at it, feel free to, please.

By the by, it is a 97 TJ with 7.5 in lift and a rubicon express long arm kit. Hope this helps.

Thanks
Wyatt

Did you have someone turn the wheel while looking at these? Must clunks from the front end can become pretty apparent when checked that way.

Yeah, I had the misses turn the wheel while I watched. I got her to do it about six or seven times, nothing was visible, but only audible inside the cab?
