A nation divided

I cant sit and watch a tv for 3 hours. Unless football. Not intentional anything else I just follow asleep.

My wife has said she's seen the first 20 minutes of every popular movie made since the 70's but only 3 or 4 complete movies

ADHD?

Nightmare before Christmas is barely over an hour. We watched it while eating dinner the other night.

Besides, you can always do like in work meetings and play with your phone in the background.

You eat too slow.
lol I didn't say I was eating the whole time.
But if it would have taken say 30 mins for dinner anyway, then it was only an extra 40 or something out of my life, half of which I spent on nc4x4.

x2. That is me with most movies these days. Look at my phone until the good scenes come on.

I'm the only one in my house that can actually "WATCH" a movie. Not take my eyes off the screen, and actually catch all the subtle things happening. I think i'm the only one in my family that can actually ENJOY a movie

If it is something I am interested in, I will devote my attention. Most movies I have seen lately arent that deserving. I normally miss the primary roles in many scenes as I am looking for interesting/odd stuff happening in the background.

I've recently found myself pre-watching movies so I can catch the subtleties and nuance...so when I watch the movie with my wife later, I can explain what's happening when she's ignored 90% of the rest of the movie.

My wife doesn't like the movies I like, when I want to be left alone turn one on. Both the Nightmare before Christmas and Die Hard are in my top 10, don't care what time of year it is I'll watch them.

I'm the same way.

With that said, I dont like nightmare before christmas, it isnt that good of a movie.

I said what I said

I watch the same movies over and over again. My wife asked me why I do that instead of finding something else to watch I haven’t seen before. I guess I just don’t want to commit to something I don’t know. But Nightmare and Die Hard are both great and I’ll watch both at least twice between now and Dec 25.
