Address or Good Directions to Uhwarrie

I need an address or some good directions to the parking area at Uhwarrie. I live only about 30 mins or so from the park and it has been years since I have been up that way. I would coming in from the albemarle side. thanks in advance.

just take 24/27 east from Albermarle until you see 109 north.. take that about 15 minutes until you see Eldorado Outpost Inc

Actually, if you are heading north on 109, once you get to the Outpost you've actually just passed it. The main entrance with the big sign etc is about 1/4 mi (at most) before it.
That's the entrance to "Hunt Camp", where many folks meet up.

That is correct but he needs to by a day pass to wheel.. that is why I sent him there

Mountain Market
3079 Hwy 109 N

Use this address to get to the Mountain Market which is about a mile before the entrance. You can buy your day pass/drinks/food/etc there and they will point you in the right direction if you have any more questions. All you gotta do from there is cross the Uwharrie River bridge and take a left into the forest on Reservation Rd.

Thought I would also add that when on 24/27-turn left onto River Road, just past the Pee Dee River basin bridge, beside the BP gas station and turn left and take it all the way to the end. You will see Mountain Market on the Left.

What time does the outpost or mountain market close in the evening. We will be arriving friday night around 7ish.

The Mountain Market is open until 9pm every day. Sometimes later on weekends if need be. and like Poker stated, coming from Albemarle take 24/27 to River Rd. Follow River Rd to the stop sign and the Mountain Market is right there on the left corner. From there you only have about a mile to the forest entrance.

Cool, I mean the stables are literally across the road from eldorado outpost, so not a big drive to get there or anything
