Proceed to flight ramp, apply throttle, adjusting flaps for wind shear, 10 & 2 always.

As quick as the take off begins, shift thinking towards the LZ. Brace and throttle out.

Admire viewpoint, beautiful sky, and rapidly approaching hecklers.

Friends, family, pitcrew, hecklers...push the rubber side down.
aimg.photobucket.com_albums_v443_ProjekTJ_DPG_20Rock_20Race_DSC_0091.jpg

Rinse and Repeat.

In that brief moment of hangtime while looking at the ground (that seems like 30 seconds)....... what thoughts go through ones mind??

G#$% D@#$ S*& O# A B#*$%...

Oh S$*& hold on...hold on.... Please come back down... Please come back down...

Don't pee, don't pee, don't pee

he stayed in the air FOREVER... then finally it landed.

when i endo'd mine, it was "...gas, gas, gas... then ...uh-oh... then ...please land somewhere soft, please land somewhere soft... splat!"

By no means am I saying I could do better given the circumstances but wouldn't it have came back down on all 4's if he would have nailed the gas?

motor shut off. We were all yelling to nail the gas but the motor sputtered and died.

And Travis...you know you want a stinger. They are just too cool for you i guess. :flipoff2:

Who got the pictures? How did you manage so many so quickly?
My digi camera needs a good 5 seconds between shots to reset. Was somebody already waiting with the "multi-shot" mode set?
I just can't ever get a good action series to work out like that.

They are all my pictures. I shot multiple frames the entire day. I have the ability to shoot up to 3 frames per second.

Just another example. It's not good, it's just an example.
