Dad has an older kubota ht1400 mower with a bad hydrostatic. It will pull until it gets hot. He spoke with someone at kubota place, and they told him 800 bucks. Id like to get this fixed for him, but 800 is steep i feel like.

Man, I can't even find an HT1400 mower on Kubota's website. Tell me more about the hydro system on it, and just the thing overall. Is it a lawn tractor, zero-turn, or what?

if it is getting hot then my bet is the fan that cools it is probably not working or it got a crack and fluid leaked out
