Anyone know who's jeep this is?

Tellico dried up like a dehydrated banana chip when that place was shut down. I'm sure that the outpost and a few other places do well off of the trail systems but, there is a lot going on up there besides the trail. There are too many up there that think they run the place I've helped and been helped on the trail but some people think they can tell you what to do even if your not in the wrong

So I think most agree that the LEO needs to be on the trail. I even donated to the FOU to help fund a vehicle. What has come of that?

Far as I know they just keep asking for donations I haven't seen anywhere they have posted how much money has been collected

Perhaps not but then again the western part of the state is a tourist attraction in itself just because of the mountains. Montgomery County without URE has no real attraction. Again, this is my opinion and just that, an opinion.

I have that same problem at my house. Odd because I can get a signal outside and in every other room of the house, but in the bathroom it sucks. I am not an IT person but I wonder if the porcelain or the pipes have something to do with it.

I dont disagree, but what is the punishment for this? Who goes after them, if you have proof?

On top of that, could you charge them with distruction of property or trespassing?
 
They'll probablly end up giving some volunteers tasers to neutralize the situation. If I get tased I will find you. They are all committed to safety but no one even patrols the parking lots. Opening day there was 400+ people at art lilley, doing a lot of illegal shit, hell they almost had a killing. They couldn't have done anything with that crowd

Supposedly they can be fined but whether or not the forestry service will actually pursue the issue is another story. I think the only real punishment if the person is identified will be the stern keyboard lashings he will receive from here and facebook.
 
it's turning into the wild west out there. FOU is still collecting funds. not sure how close there are to the goal. but it is the next logical step. It should have happened a few years ago.

Stirring the pot here as I don't know what's going on.

I do know that a nc4x4 member flopped at Uwharrie this weekend, and was slandered on Face space by FOU for wheeling while drinking, and that was completely false and couldn't be more un true.

The nc4x4 member flop was completely unrelated to all of this and the Original post.

I think everybody is goin a little awall about Uwharrie, people need to explore some other options, only been there twice this year tired of the bs that goes along with the place
 
I don't go to URE as much as I use to. 40% due to a lack of time, but 60% due to all the idiots. My last trip went well. But the 2 before that I ran into piss drunk redneck disrespectful idiots. Had my daughter with me one of those, guy was tossing beer cans in the woods, I tried to explain who has to pick it up, the nice way and polite. Dude started cussing my out and going on an on while my 4 year old was standing there.
I put in volunteer time and money, but it's going downhill by bad people far faster than good people can maintain/correct it. I love the place but just got burned out and feel a little hopeless about it.

As a matter of fact, the guy in that video very well may be the jerk that went off on me.
