Back yard yj build

Went to Wake Forest the other day and got a 93 yj body and frame rust free and nice! The jeep also came with some steel half doors, flat fenders, grill, two seats and a dented hood! Also has 2" lift springs on it but will probably change those out for some longer springs.

Then went to Danville VA and got some 39" Iroks on 6 lug steel wheels.

What is your plan for motor, tranny, TC, and axles?

Maybe a chevy 350 and not sure of the axles yet. I'll probably throw my 6 lug dana 44's in there for now.

got the hood dents banged out

interior is pretty much rust free!

windshield cleaned up nice no cracks

it has some interesting hooks on the back...

2" lift springs SOA looking a little tall for 39's....

are you sure ? theres no weight on the springs so that wont be the final ride height

I am going to stretch the wheelbase too. Probably use a mix of xj and s10 springs. And try to get the wheelbase pushed out to about 106"-112".

Thanks, I'm going to try and keep it really low...I figure once I get the v8 and all in it it will sink down another 4 inches or so.

got some s10 springs for the rear, should get about 4-5" of stretch from these...

I got the rear s10 springs in today spring under. They gave me about 5" more wheelbase.
