Because Race Shop - Left Eye Blind Racing

Damn that's pretty! Any pictures of it out in the sun?

Thanks...that was the shops first big customer funded build. It’s local to Paul, so it swings in for maintenance and a beer regularly. Best pics I have off hand:

Ever done any work on a 51 flathead ford?

Sharp looking truck. Working on one with a similar color myself. Do you know the wheel and tire size he is running on it?

To go along with the ‘educate the internet portfolio’ with the 460 that proved they’re not the monsters folks want to make them out to be and the 400 that proved they’re not the boat anchors folks want to make them out to be...next up is an N/A 300 with a stock head...shooting for 1.5hp:1ci to show what it actually takes for some of these innernet claims...

This kinda reminds me of the supercharged Dodge slant 6 I saw on the YouTubes. The Leaning Tower of Power laid down 371hp :D

Figured I'd post it here for anyone that sends me messages or asks for quotes. I’m cashing out and getting out of the biz after 6 years by the end of Q1. Kris probably won’t be far behind and hasn’t been accepting new engine builds for a few months now. We’re both just getting burned out with 9-5 jobs as well. The business is still alive and well, everything will be transferred to Paul. Everything on the website is still valid, paul will still be doing custom car builds/restorations, and he’ll also take on more of the mild engine builds. I appreciate any support we’ve gotten from the forum.
Thanks man...I was the most replaceable, but set up Paul with a Tax attorney friend of mine to handle day to accounting remotely through Quickbooks. One of the guys Paul hired can handle the R&D test and tune I was doing too. Paul is more than capable to handle most engine builds, but I’m sure Kris will always be available for anything exceptionally cool.

Well...consider us the Brett Favre of fab shops. Official end of the era. Ultimately, too much work, not enough play, became too much. The business has been restructured and reorganized. Paul bought another successful business and will be pursuing that path. I've stepped away entirely. And Kris just wants to get back to a side gig where he's only doing a half dozen (or less) really cool engines every year. The website has been taken down, and Kris will be posting on the FB page from time to time. I wanted to thank the folks on the site that supported the business. There were several of you that helped us source parts and walked us through distribution/supply chain...without that revenue channel, it would have been difficult keeping the lights on in the beginning. Lots of tough decisions and a weird feeling for sure, but I think we'll all be able to get back to enjoying our hobbies again.
