Yesterday a buddys fiance threw him a surprise party, the theme was beers from around the world, or craft beers, no bud light, busch light, etc...

I went to the local total wine on a mission, Lonerider. I had already had the Shotgun Betty at Ecors races and was excited to try a few more.

Walked out with all 3 6 packs for 25 bucks. Very reasonable. If you havent had any, run out and try them.

I'm a big fan of Sweet Josie. The others are good, but I think that's my favorite.

I wish I had tried them but that having to drive thing got in the way lol

Just FYI, they have 4 or 5 other beers on tap at the brewery that they dont bottle. Mad Doc, Deadeye Jack, and Preacher are three that come to mind.

Try Torpedo Extra IPA from Sierra Nevada for the win....if you can handle the hops. My favorite easy to get craft beer. Food Lion carries it and the 7.2 ABV, another win. Scored a 99 on the Beer Advocate by "The Bros", role models for us all. I can't always find Arrogant Bastard and this is a close second.

That Sweet Josie is GOOD!!! Normally available at Ingles if it isn't sold out.

Thanks for supporting the local guys :)

I've meet a couple people down here that like it and hope to see it offered in SC soon! What chains carry it in NC so the next time I'm in Charlotte of Concord I can make a pit stop!

Trader Joe's in Winston has it.

I always try to support the local guys, 2 beers from this area worth trying are the olde mecklenburg amber and red oak. All time favorite is bells two hearted ale though.

Yea I go to Charlotte and Concord some so that is what I was looking for. Someone in those areas that carries it.

The ingles 2 miles from my house usually has Sweet Josie.

Until I buy it all. That is all that is in my beer fridge right now.
