Can anyone around bend 2.25x.375 wall tube? I may can do it here at work, but it would be trial and error and that tube is way too expensive to mess with trial and error.

I need to bend it around my front tires as they are my lower links on the front of the buggy.

I'm pretty wide open to how its bent as long as it'll miss the tires and the frame (not difficult)

last time a buddy needed to bend thick tube, he heated it with a torch, then put it in a press and slowly bent it.. worked perfect

weld some joints on it and let me use it for a lower link for a ride or two. :huggy:

I hate to even sugest this but here goes. I your not putting over 25 degrees or so of bend you could try a cheap ass bomerange bender with a 2 inch pipe die. The 2.25 tubing should fill out the shoe pretty well and slow down the distortion. Plus they load real easy and you can slowly inch your way toward the desired bend. They absolutely suck for its intended purpose but they bend solid stock really well. Maybe your heavier wall will help out. I don't own one but my work place does.

We just got a new conduit bender up to 2.5" rigid. I'm thinking I can may use that.

I guess I could just "build" a link out of smaller tube, bend it, and truss it...
