Im really trying to figure out how and abrupt change from 2 1/2" pipe to 8" pipe, 13" from the end, really does anything for the truck other than look stupid?

NO no no.......even better................ a coffee can w big holes drilled in the bottom and a smaller can inside full of soapy water, wedged up in the tip............................then it would blow bubbles out the tailpipe when started and running down the road.........somebody here can fab that up and i'm sure w the right design it would work rolling bubbles that pop like greasy farts.
