New Colorado ZR2 a “Segment of One” Among Off-Road Pickups

I'm considering trading my 2015 for one of these, but I'll change my tune when the pricing is released and begins with a "4" or "5".

Can I just say: Multimatic DSSV dampers, and Eaton E-Lockers at both ends. Sure, it's no aftermarket-modified crawl machine, but it's pretty badass for a factory pickup. I've heard many people say it's a mini-Raptor.


Well, that's actually great until it comes time to repair/replace those Multimatic dampers (because expensive). But until then, yeeeaaaaaah!

Dang, now if they'd just drop one of those aluminum V8s in there, they'd have it!

I've been pondering getting one of the used 2015 4-cyl 2WD models for cheap ( that's relative for a 2015 model) and doing just that... The V6 is the same family as the Cadillac and Camaro, etc., so there's probably some interesting chassis/engine/mount parts interchange with the Camaro V8 that would make the swap slightly easier. I'm trying to remember if Mallett was advertising that swap, or just their supercharger for the V6. I'm sure they'd make it happen if you gave them enough money.

Wonder how much they changed the frame/underhood from the previous generation Canyorado? Those trucks with the 5.3's intrigue me, and I look em up on autotrader.com about every 6 months to decide if I should buy one, haha.

Completely different truck as far as I know, little or no carry-over. The current gen Colorado was a global truck since 2012 before being sold here. Never offered in a V8 in any market. Duramax has been out since 2012 globally.

If you've ever driven one of the first gens with the 5.3L, the engine is the best part of the truck. The truck itself is a very underwhelming and cheap feeling pile.

This tard in front of me with friggin blacked out taillights. This is with his brakes ON. Notice how much brighter every other vehicles brake lights are. I should have just hit him.

The Feds won't let us have 2005 land cruiser 70 series and Land Rover defender (due to safety and emissions...yea) but that retard is allowed to be as unsafe as he wants. Infuriating.
