I'm not really sure they can classify as boat sides. I am thinking of doing this type of slider work and have been told it is rocker panel replacement. every boat side I have seen are a bit more extreme.

it is a boat side im not entirely done yet but i went as high as i could with out cutting into the doors. I gained 3" under from the lowest point and will be plating the uniframe and I will also have to cut into the floors a tad for the 1x1 supports and I would consider using a 4x4 a rocker replacement due to not having to rework the A and C pillars like we had to and ill try and take some pics tomorrow for ya man

where'd the 1/4 panel armor come from?

thats a custom piece that was made by a guy on JF.

does the person that owns that beige wrangler you were wheeling with go to nc state. i am pretty sure i have seen it sitting over on campus before

Im not to sure man his name is Marc

Well I went wheeling today with LOJ and overall it was a great trip I think I may need a new trans mount but if thats all I broke I'll call it a good trip now for the pics well some of them haha

Ok well after my break today I made a large amount of progress on the jeep. I have everything but a small out of sheet metal i had to pull back to weld in the brackets welded in then i have to make 2 end caps and phase 2 of this is done. I will be ordering the TNT stiffeners before I do the 1x1 tie ins and then skin the bottom to make these actual boat sides.

now for the pics
Drivers side all welded and ready to be burned in
