Biggoofy build thread 96 Jeep ZJ

I was driving home MAYBE a 5 min drive and noticed it wasn't popping out of overdrive and didn't feel right leaving the stop light so when i was washing it i pulled the stick and it is kinda milky so Ill be using the trans machine to drain and flush tomorrow!

The AX15 swap will be happening. My tranny is fucked so Ill be driving the Xj for a few weeks while I gather parts for the swap!

Well I might be going to the JY this weekend since a buddy offered to pay my way (he needs my tools) so I should be able to grab a good bit to get this swap under way!

Are you set on an AX15? Just wondering why if you are.

Its almost a direct bolt in and I can do it fairly cheap seems sensable to me.

So today I finally had enough of the wet carpet so I cut it all out but what is covering the trans tunnel to try and keep the noise down. I'll be rhino lining the area with out carpet as soon as im sure everything is dried up.

I want to do that soooo bad, but how do you get around an obd2 inspection?

I have FL plates haha:driver:

I figured I would post up my rear parts, fluid, and tool storage solution.

So I got a package in the mail today from FCZJ and I cant wait to get everything painted up and installed tomorrow. The Rad support is BEEFY as hell and very well made to say the least. The steering brace looks ****ing sweet and the welds are killer!! Thanks for the great product Neil!

Today was a decently productive day. I got the new shit painted up and installed. Overall fitment was pretty damn good right out of the box. I still had to use a vice and persuade some parts to fix just right but my jeep has taken some good hits up front off road so I'm sure that didnt help out haha. I had to enlarge one hole on the steering brace but again no big deal. Thanks again Neil aka FCZJ

I managed to get the trans out and cleaned up today after work only took about 45 minutes since I got most of it done sunday. Ill hopefully be dropping it off at the trans shop to see if its under warranty tomorrow or wednesday. If its not ill grab a jy trans sat and throw it in for the time being.

Im going to try and get some metal and plate the inner uniframe rails while I have it all apart if I can find the time.

I love having access to a lift
