my wife,2 teenage daughters,and friend looked like they were on a African safari when they left here the first time around 9.Came home with their tales tucked between their legs.Regrouped and left again sometime after midnite and here it is5:18 and they aren't home.
 
I'm the electronics manager at Kmart in Asheville and its been non stop for me since we opened at 5 am. When I came into work at 4 am we had a line of at least 100 people
 
I got lucky and was into Walmart and back out in about 1.5hrs. I would usually agree that it was not worth the time but the xbox with kinect system cost me $150 and 14 ft trampoline with enclosure for $150.
 
Lines were too long at best buy so I went shopping for a rack instead

The line at Big Lots was crazy long (like 200' long...) this morning...

I drove by at 5am and honked my horn.... on my way to WORK
 
I've been a few times, but it always seems like the same stuff is available for the same price a few weeks later online.
 
Drove through the Walmart parking lot around 10 lastnight...took 4 hours to get out of it...

Was in Wilmington yesterday...drove to Target to see if they were open around 2pm...they were closed but there was 1 girl already waiting in line by herself...for them to open at 12am!
 
I slept in, went to Lowes, still had a pile of what I wanted. Went to ACE, had plenty of what I wanted, drove home well rested... Headed outside to wrench...
 
I went 5 drunk friends to Target so that they could buy a pingpong table. Only 2 went in, the rest stayed out and drank in the parking lot. Cops came, almost got arrested, but they got the table haha.

Apparently drinking in the Cary Target parking lot is frowned upon.
 
I'm boycotting Black Friday. Have most of my shopping already done. Still gotta get Dad something but that's about it. I went by the Toys R Us last night about 9 and the line was easily a quarter mile long between 2 and 4 wide. WTF!!!! Screw that!
 
We aren't going anywhere for Christmas since the wife is preggers and can't comfortably travel. We are just going to stay home. Her family is 400 miles north in VA and mine is 400 miles west in TN. Good thing is there are no presents to buy except for maybe one for a friends daughter. We never have been big on buying gifts for each other. After my first marriage every day with her is a gift. And that isn't just mushy talk my ex is a bitch.
 
People are F'n crazy! I went out for black friday two years ago and there were over 200 people in line for a GPS that the store only had 20 of.

Honestly, you can usually get the same deal online with free shipping and not have to pay tax usually if you just catch it at the right now.

Crazy all the people getting shot and killed over something that is on sale...people are crazy.

yep, 90% of stores now have the same sales online. I did all my "shopping" at Lowes and Best Buy this morning from the couch.

I didn't see any signs barring weapons while walking into Walmart this evening. AND, what they don't know won't hurt them, unless 'they' act REALLY stupid, right?
